seasons are abundant for people of all ages in Ravenna. Whether
you're chasing the white ball around, playing catch, cooling off at
the pool, or just needing to walk the family pet, you will find just
what you're looking for in Ravenna!
City ParksRavenna has five beautiful city parks covering seven acres. Underground sprinklers have recently been installed at two of the parks. Facilities located at our parks include:
Ravenna Golf ClubThe Ravenna Golf Club located on the north edge of town. It offers 9 holes of par 35 golfing on grass greens and watered fairways over rolling hills with beautiful landscaping including a large variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers. The course is open to the public and also offers organized league play. The clubhouse is open every day throughout the season. Swimming PoolRavenna's swimming pool offers swimming for all ages with a wading pool for small children and a graduated depth pool with diving boards, slide, and lifeguards for more experienced swimmers. The staff offers Red Cross and private lessons. The pool is located on North Grand Avenue with playground equipment on the grounds and a snack area and vending machines next to the bathhouse. Pool hours are 1 to 5 p.m. daily and evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. The pool is closed when the temperature is below 70 degrees. For further information, call (308) 452-3139.
Ravenna City Auditorium
Rollerskating is available at the Bohhning Memorial Auditorium, sponsored by the Ravenna Lions Club, starting in November and continuing through March from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday evenings. Admission is $1 and skate rental is $.50. You may bring your own rollerskates or rollerblades. Concessions are also available. For a small fee, the Ravenna Lions Club will host your Roller Skating Parties. For more information, contact City Hall at (308) 452-3273.

Other Activities and Facilities:
- Bowling
- The Buffalo County Recreation Area and Ravenna Lake State Recreation Area covers 100 acres and is located only 1 mile east of Ravenna. It has recently been drenched and stocked with game fish and a new handicapped fishing dock has been constructed. Facilities include restrooms, picnic areas, and primitive camping.
