Downtown Revitalization – Survey

downtown revitalization surveyThe City of Ravenna is in the process of preparing an application to Nebraska Department of Economic Development for Downtown Revitalization grant funds.  The program is two phases, with the first phase of funds being used for developing a Downtown Revitalization Plan and the second phase of grant funds being used for implementing ideas developed during the plan.  The City understands the importance of gathering the community’s input for different ideas, wants, and goals for future Downtown improvements.  In order to help show support and provide initial input for the project, the City is working with their Grant Administrator to conduct an electronic survey about Ravenna’s Downtown District.  This survey is extremely important because it will help City leaders understand the level of community support and provide an initial perspective for desired improvements.  Your input is crucial whether you own property or a business in the Downtown District, work for a business in the Downtown District, or are a resident of Ravenna.  The goal is to find ways to improve Ravenna’s Downtown to encourage private investment, promote entrepreneurship, and support existing businesses.  This can be accomplished with some public investment, beautification, marketing, and public space improvements.  Please help the City of Ravenna by providing your input.  The survey results will be used for the grant application as well as the Downtown Revitalization Plan, if the City is awarded the grant funds.  The City needs to be able to show support for this grant application, the project, and the community’s need for Downtown improvements.  The Phase I grant application is dueMay 31, 2016; so everyone is working hard to put together the best application possible.

The link below will take you to the electronic survey.  All responses are anonymous, unless you provide your name at the end to be a part of the Downtown District Improvement Committee.  Your input is very important, and thank you for taking the time.  Results will be shared following the closure of the survey.
